What's included in the free plan?

The free plan includes quotes and invoicing for contractors, job scheduling, customer management, your pricebook and service catalog, receivables tracking, financial forecasting, and manual payment recording. You also get up to 3 online card payments per calendar month so you can test the full payment workflow before committing to a paid plan.

How do payments work?

You can record payments manually (cash, check, Zelle, bank transfer) at any time — there's no plan restriction on manual recording. Online card payments are processed through Stripe and are available on all plans, with the free plan limited to 3 per calendar month. Paid plans have no online payment limit.

Do I need a Stripe account?

Accepted Answer

Yes, to accept online card payments. Field Leader connects directly to your Stripe account using Stripe Connect, so funds go straight to your bank. Setup is guided and takes a few minutes. If you prefer to record payments manually, you can do that without Stripe.

How does team pricing work?

The Team plan starts at $149/month and includes up to 5 technicians. Each additional technician beyond 5 costs $20/month more (or $200/year on the annual plan). Technician count is based on active users in your organization.

What happens if I hit the free plan payment limit?

If you reach 3 online card payments in a calendar month, you can still create invoices and record manual payments (cash, check, etc.) without restriction. To continue accepting online card payments, you'll need to upgrade to the Solo or Team plan. The limit resets on the 1st of each month.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time from the billing settings in your account. There are no long-term contracts or cancellation fees.
